A Pause for Gratitude
Finding God in the Everyday
Sometimes gratitude doesn't arrive with extraordinary moments.
Sometimes it slips quietly through an open window...
in the warmth of morning sunlight, the laughter of someone we love,
the sound of waves meeting the shore,
or a gentle reminder that we're not walking through this day alone.
We've discovered that the more often we pause to whisper,
"Thank You, God," the more beauty we begin to notice.
Gratitude isn't denial of hardship.
It changes what we choose to notice.
Our "Thank You, God" moments are often very small.
Those small moments gradually reshape our perspective.
Gratitude becomes a daily practice rather than a reaction to good circumstances.
Before this day ends, take one quiet pause.
Look around.
Breathe deeply.
And simply whisper, "Thank You, God."
You may be surprised by how much has been waiting to be noticed all along.
