There is a quiet strength carried by mothers

Not the kind that seeks recognition or applause.

The kind that rises early, stays up late, remembers the details, carries the worries,

offers the encouragement, and somehow finds a way to keep loving through it all.

Many mothers hold far more than anyone realizes.

They carry the needs of their children, the concerns of their families,

the wellbeing of their partners, the care of aging parents, the weight of responsibilities,

and the hopes they have for those they love.

Often, they do it so naturally that others may never fully see the depth of what they carry.

And yet, beneath that strength, there is also a heart.

A heart that sometimes grows tired.

A heart that may wonder if it is doing enough.

A heart that occasionally longs for someone else to carry the load for a little while.

If that is where you find yourself today, this reflection is for you.

You do not have to earn your worth through sacrifice.

You do not have to prove your value through exhaustion.

You do not have to carry everything alone.

The love you give so freely to others is also worthy of being extended to yourself.

Perhaps today is an invitation to pause.

To receive.

To breathe.

To remember that caring for yourself is not separate from caring for those you love.

It is part of it.

And perhaps the greatest gift you can offer the people around you

is not perfection, but presence.

Not endless striving,

but a heart that remains connected to peace.

Because even those who hold much deserve to be held by grace.

And even those who carry much deserve moments of rest.

You are seen.

You are appreciated.

You are deeply loved.
